Grief and Loss Support

A Safe Space to Process Loss, Pain, and Healing

Grief doesn’t follow a timeline or a set of rules. It can arrive quietly or feel overwhelming. Some days you may feel numb, other days deeply sad, angry, confused, or emotionally exhausted — and sometimes all of it at once.

Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a pregnancy, a pet, your health, or a significant life change, you don’t have to go through it alone.

When Grief Feels Too Heavy to Carry

Many people come to therapy wondering if what they are feeling is “normal.” You might find yourself thinking:

  • Why am I still feeling this way?
  • Shouldn’t I be coping better by now?
  • Why do small things suddenly feel so overwhelming?

Grief can affect your sleep, energy levels, concentration, relationships, and sense of purpose. Talking to a therapist can help you feel understood, supported, and less alone during this difficult time.

How Grief and Loss Counselling Can Help

Grief therapy is not about forgetting your loss or “moving on.” It’s about learning how to live with the loss while slowly finding steadiness, meaning, and emotional balance again.

In therapy, we may:

Offer a safe space to express your thoughts and emotions openly
Help you process feelings such as sadness, guilt, anger, or regret
Support you through triggers, anniversaries, and reminders
Explore ways to honour your loss while caring for yourself
Help you rebuild a sense of hope and emotional resilience

Your Grief Is Personal and Valid

There is no “right” way to grieve. Everyone experiences loss differently, and no two journeys look the same. Whether your grief feels intense, confusing, delayed, or complicated, it is valid.

You are welcome here exactly as you are.
