Personal Biography
Beatrice “Bea” has spent over 14 years supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. A native of Washington, DC, she grew up in an under-resourced community where violence and instability were often part of daily life. These early experiences shaped her passion for social work and her deep commitment to creating safe, empathetic spaces for healing.
Bea holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Towson University and a Master of Social Work from Howard University. Her professional journey includes experience in community mental health, hospice care, senior services, and diverse healthcare systems, allowing her to support people across all stages of life.
What Bea finds most rewarding is witnessing the moment when someone feels truly heard when self-doubt softens and hope starts to return. She believes mental health care should be accessible, affordable, and treated with the same urgency as physical health.
Now based in Georgia, where she’s lived for the past eight years, Bea shares her life with her husband, two children, and their beloved fur baby. Having also lived in Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida, she brings a broad understanding of the unique challenges people face in different communities.
With both personal insight and professional expertise, Bea helps clients develop healthy coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with their inner confidence. Her mission is simple: to offer compassionate, judgment-free support to anyone seeking healing, growth, and connection.
